Info Meeting in Marneuli Municipality on DCFTA-Related Matters

On June 29th, 2017, an info meeting was held in the Municipality of Marneuli on the topics of DCFTA-related benefits, opportunities and advantages. The meeting was organized by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality.

Additional topics of discussion included the current state and updates on agriculture development in frames of the Euro Integration process.

Up to 80 regional entrepreneurs and farmers participated in the meeting. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia informed the participants about the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA). The participants of the meeting also discussed agricultural development issues, existing state of play, the achieved progress, the opportunities and other relevant issues within European integration process.
