The DCFTA Information Center Met With Entrepreneurs

The DCFTA Information Center of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry introduced the legislative regulation and supervision issues of pesticides and agrochemicals to the entrepreneurs of the Kakheti region.

 

The training “Legislative Regulation and Control of Pesticides and Agrochemicals” took place with support from the EU co-financed “SME Development and DCFTA in Georgia” implemented by the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ).

 

The training was conducted by representatives of the LEPL National Food Agency.

 

The training was focused on matters and news in regulation and control of pesticides and agrochemicals, including the legislation in the management of pesticides and agrochemicals, registrations of pesticides and agrochemicals, state catalogs, etc.

 

The project is being implemented in frames of the European Union initiative EU4Business. The aim of this initiative is to help small and medium entrepreneurs to take advantage of the free trade area agreement between Georgia and the EU.
