Georgian Honey Producers can export to the EU market

Georgian producers of honey will now be able to export their product on the EU market. “This is an unprecedented decision, according to which once DCFTA is in effect, foods of animal origin will enter the EU market for the first time,” emphasized Mr. Genadi Arveladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, during his visit in Brussels where the EU trading committee adopted the decision to allow honey imports from Georgia.
