DCFTA-related information meeting within Start in Georgia event

On 18 November 2017, the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia participated in a large-scale exhibition “Start in Georgia”, located in the exhibition center Expo Georgia in Tbilisi. The participants were informed about the beneficial trade regime within the frames of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) agreement with the European Union and also about the programs developed by the Government and international organizations, including support initiatives aimed at giving local entrepreneurs better access to the benefits forseen by the DCFTA agreement.

 

The event, which was attended by up to 5000 entrepreneurs, was organized by the Georgian Startups Association and Start-Business Solutions, and aimed at improving the entrepreneurial environment in the country; efficiently communicate information regarding existing assistance tools for startups and beginner entrepreneurs, and raise awareness and encourage entrepreneurship.
