On the meeting also was discussed information on the study of laboratory (industrial) capabilities of Georgia, which aims to identify priority areas for the development of local laboratories. The research is carried out within the framework of the Association Facilitation Support Project (AA Facility) between Georgia and the European Union.

The Trade Advisory Board and the DCFTA Advisory Group were established in 2016. The purpose of the Council is to develop recommendations on issues related to the country's trade policy and the implementation of the DCFTA, and to propose measures to be taken, which will strengthen the private-public dialogue.
